Area Athletes Rank Among State's Best In Track & Field

Area underclassmen rank among the best performers in the state in the up-to-date track and field rankings on MileStat.

Freshmen

Stuarts Draft’s Takota Moore is the top ranked freshman in the state in the shot put, regardless of division with a throw of 36-0.

Waynesboro’ Symone Bryant is the No. 1 freshman in Class 3 in the 100 meters with a time of 13.07.

Wilson’s Ariella Mensah is the No. 1 freshman in Class 3 in the triple jump at 32-10.

Riverheads Abi Bennington is the No. 1 freshman in Class 2 in the triple jump at 33-0.5.

Sophomores

Waynesboro’s Skylar Sloat is the No. 1 soph. in Class 3 in the pole vault, clearing 10-0

Riverheads’ Alexis Sacra is the No. 1 soph. in Class 2 in the pole vault, clearing 9-0

Juniors

Fort’s Taylor Cubbage is the No. 1 junior in Class 2 in the 200 with a time of 26.80

Fort’s Molly O’Brien is the No. 1 junior in Class 2 in the 3200 with a time of 13:38.40

Riverheads’ Olivia Keller is the No. 1 junior in Class 2 in the pole vault, clearing 9-0

Stuarts Draft’s Derrick Moore is the No. junior in Class 2 in the triple jump at 42-8

Riverheads’ Storm Parker is the No. 1 junior in Class 2 in the pole vault, clearing 10-0

Also, several athletes are ranked No.1 in the state in his or her respective event.

In Class 2 boys, Fort Defiance’s Jeffrey McLaughlin is No. 1 in the pole vault, clearing 13-0 and Riverheads is No. 1 in the 4x800 relay with a time of 8:36.40.

Among Class 2 girls, Fort Defiance’s Taylor Cubbage ranks No. 1 in the 200 meters with a time of 26.80 and Stuarts Draft’s Anna Callo is No. 1 in the pole vault, clearing 11-0.
