Two In A Row For Wilson's Devereux

Wilson’s Jaxson Devereux won his second straight Shenandoah District golf tournament, besting the field Monday at the Omni Homestead Old Course.

Devereux shot a 76 Monday to win medalist honors for the second time this season.

Rockbridge won its second straight team title with a score of 333, seven strokes ahead of Wilson at 340. Waynesboro was third with 342 followed by Fort Defiance with a 346 and Staunton with a 347.

Alleghany posted a 365 for sixth place followed by Riverheads with 397, Stuarts Draft with 403 and Buffalo Gap with 408.
