Riverheads Receives Fields of Excellence Award

The Riverheads High School football field was recently selected by Pioneer Athletics as an award winner in the Fields of Excellence contest for the 2024-25 school year. Riverheads High School is one of only 79 schools in the entire country to be recognized with this honor.

Those responsible for this award are members of the Riverheads outstanding volunteer field paint crew who spend many hours each week working to prepare the field for Friday nights. The members of this year's award winning paint crew include: Greg Phillips, Doug Crabb, Jonny Wisman, Mikey Fitzgerald, Chris Tyree, Bruce Lamond, Scott Boehm, Bones Doyle, Barry Smith and Jesse Hostetler.
