Grace Teams Set For VAC North Region Tournament

The seedings and schedules have been announced for the Boys and Girls VACA North Region basketball tournaments set for the upcoming week.

Girls Seeding
1. Blue Ridge Christian
2. Grace Christian
3. Ridgeview Christian
4. United Christian Academy
5. Mt. Carmel Christian
6. Cornerstone Christian

In the girls’ tournament, Grace Christian is seeded No. 2 and received a first-round bye.

The semifinals and finals of the girls’ tournament will be hosted by Grace Christian.

The Warriors will play in the first semifinal on Friday, Feb. 14 at 2:00 p.m. against the winner of the Ridgeview-UCA game. The second semifinal game will be played at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

The consolation and championship games will be played on Saturday. The consolation game is set for 1:00 p.m. with the title game set for 3:00 p.m.

The boys’ quarterfinals will be played either Monday, Feb. 11 or Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the site of the higher seed.

The Grace Christian boys, the No. 2 seed in the Central, will host United, the No. 3 seed in the North, in a quarterfinal game on Monday at 6:00 p.m.

The semifinals and finals of the boys’ tournament will also be hosted by Grace Christian,

The boys’ semis are set for Friday, Feb. 14 at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The consolation game will be played Saturday, Feb. 15 at 5:00 p.m., followed by the championship game at 7:00 p.m.
