Grace Soccer Overwhelms United Christian

STAUNTON – Grace Christian School opened its boys’ soccer season Tuesday afternoon with a dominant 6-1 victory over United Christian Academy.

Grace took the lead in the opening minutes on a goal by Canon Reid. The Warriors were relentless in their attack in the first half, controlling the play in their offensive third.

Micah Erdman’s goal made the score 2-0 and goals by Patrick Wells and Caleb Erdman gave Grave a 4-0 lead at the half.

After United scored its lone goal early in the second half, the Warriors added goals by Jon Ratigan and Anderson Weaber for the final 6-1 margin of victory.
