Gap Rolls to Straight-Set win over Nelson Co.

BUFFALO GAP – Buffalo Gap opened its volleyball season Tuesday with a straight set 25-11, 25-18, 25-13 non-district win over Nelson County.

Bailey Tribble led the Bison, filling the stat sheet with 13 kills, seven digs and five aces. Avery Wheeler added a team-high 24 assists along with two aces. Brailyn Green paced the defensive effort with 10 digs. Lindsey Lyle contributed five kills and a block at the net while teammate Violet Patterson put down two kills.

Gap also won the JV game 25-17, 25-13.
