Fort Defiance 3, Staunton 9
FORT DEFIANCE – Fort Defiance continued its undefeated run through district competition with a straight set 25-13, 25-10, 25-18 victory over the Staunton Storm.
Maecy Frizzelle led the Indians with 16 kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Livia Clinedinst added eight kills and seven block assists. Alexis Miller dished out 24 assists. Caroline Hanger led Fort with six aces and 13 digs. Norah Anderson added nine digs, followed by Frizzelle and Autumn Weber, each with eight digs.
Alleghany 3, Stuarts Draft 0
STUARTS DRAFT – Stuarts Draft lost to Alleghany in three sets Tuesday evening.
Lily May and Kylie Moreland each had six kills for Draft and Addy Coyner added six kills. May also had two blocks. Rylee Layne led Draft in digs with 11. Addyson Dameron had a team-high 18 assists and also had nine digs.
