COVINGTON – Fort Defiance passed its first district test of the season Tuesday night, sweeping Alleghany 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.
Maecy Frizzelle led the Fort attack with 17 kills and Caroline Hanger added 14. Fort served seven aces with Frizzelle and Alexis Miller each with two. Miller led the team with 27 assists. Norah Anderson finished with 13 digs and Frizzelle added 12.

STUARTS DRAFT – Stuarts Draft opened play Tuesday with a straight set 25-20, 25-15, 25-19 victory over rival Riverheads.
Kylie Moreland led Draft with nine kills and 12 digs. Addyson Dameron led the team with 22 assists while adding nine digs. Addy Coyner filled the stat sheet with seven kills, seven digs and nine service aces. Lily May had five kills and Rylee Layne finished with six digs.
