Former Waynesboro Players Having Big Years at STAB

Former Waynesboro High School players Jonah Brent and Haden Morris are having big seasons at St. Anne’s-Belfield.

The Saints, coached by former U.Va. and Pittsburgh Steelers great Heath Miller, are 7-0 on the season.

Brent, a junior, has rushed for 1,097 yards and 14 touchdowns in seven games, averaging 156 yards per game. In their most recent game vs. The Covenant School, Brent had 194 yards and four TDs on 11 rushes in the first half.

Morris, a junior QB, had five TD passes and just one interception through seven games. He has completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 591 yards. Morris has also rushed for 154 yards, averaging 5.9 yards per carry.
