Draft's Flippin, Seibert Named To BCAV Class 2 All-State Second Team

Stuarts Draft sophomores Ava Flippin and Augusta Seibert have been selected to the BCAV Class 2 All-State Girls Basketball second team.

The Draft duo helped lead the Cougars to a share of the Shenandoah District title, a runner-up spot in the Region 2B tournament and a spot in the state tournament.

Both players also earned scholar-athlete designations for carrying at least a 3.25 GPA.

Both Flippin and Seibert were named All-Shenandoah District first team and all Region 2B first team.

Flippin averaged 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals per game. Seibert averaged 14 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals per game. Seibert made a school record 72 3-pointers.

State champion Central-Wise swept the top honors with Emmah McAmis the Player of the Year and Robin Dotson the Coach of the Year.
