Bell, Snyder on BCAV Conference 2 1st Team; Cruz, Scott Named to 2nd Team

Staunton’s Joaqin Bell and Wilson Memorial’s Chase Snyder were named to the Basketball Coaches Association of Virginia All-Conference 2 Boys First Team.
Conference 2 in the BCVA includes all schools in the Shenandoah Valley from the Winchester area in the north and the Rockbridge area to the south. The conference includes teams in Classes 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Staunton’s Kyree Scott and Fort Defiance’s Gio Armendariz Cruz were named to the second team.
Bell, Snyder and Cruz were designated as scholar-athletes, an honor going to players with a 3.25 grade point average or higher.
Class 3 State Champion Spotswood swept the top honors with Chad Edwards being selected as Coach of the Year while Camryn Pacheco was tabbed Player of the Year,
