All-Shenandoah District Basketball Teams Released

The Shenandoah District announced its All-District boys and girls basketball teams Monday.
Staunton’s Kevin Madden was named the boys coach of the year and Storm senior guard Joaqin Bell earned Player of the Year honors.
For the girls. Buffalo Gap’s Hannah Coffman and Wilson’s CC Robinson were named Co-Players of the Year and Stuarts Draft’s Chad Seibert was named Coach of the Year.
Joining Coffman and Robinson on the girls all-district first team were Wilson’s Estee Irving and Sabrina Reeves, Stuarts Draft’s Augusta Seibert and Ava Flippin, and Riverheads’ Abi Bennington and Alexis Myrtle.
The second team featured Gap’s Kayleigh Hemp, Wilson’s Kelsey Payne and Desi Mensah-Agyekum, Draft’s Madyson Mason, Fort Defiance’s Caroline Hanger, Staunton’s Trioux Williams, and Waynesboro’s Shyla Williams and Shavea Torian.
Bell was joined on the boys’ first-team by his Staunton backcourt mate Ky’Ree Scott, Fort Defiance’s Gio Armenariz Cruz, Draft’s Landon Graber and Derrick Moore, Waynesboro’s Haden Morris, and Wilson’s Chase Snyder and Mason McWhorter.
The second team included Buffalo Gap’s Isaac Goff, Fort Defiance’s Tripp Hanger and Bradley Hebb, Riverheads’ William Gardner and Henley Dunlap, Staunton’s Anthony Renne, Draft’s Donovan Jenkins, and Wilson’s Eli Irving and Keyvon Jones.
