This week’s high school volleyball regional power rankings featured some movement, especially in the Region 3C rankings.
Broadway made the biggest jump from a week ago, moving from No. 7 to No. 3. Alleghany also was big mover, but in the wrong direction as the Cougars dropped from No. 3 to No. 7.
Among the local squads, Waynesboro held on to its No. 6 slot while the Staunton Storm moved into the No. 12 slot, the final playoff spot in 3C.
In Region 2B, the top six teams remained the same. Buckingham and Madison County traded spots in the middle of the pack with Buckingham moving up to No. 3.
In Region 1B, Riverheads and Gap are ranked in the middle of the pack with the Gladiators No. 4 and the Bison No. 5
