MBU's May, Tillman earn all-conference softball honors

STAUNTON – A pair of former Stuarts Draft H.S. standouts earned All-USA South softball honors for the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels.

Senior catcher Hadley May was a first-team selection after a dominant season. May hit for a .464 average with 11 homers and 50 RBIs. May ranked eighth in Division III in RBIs and tied for 16th in the nation in home runs.

Sophomore McKenzie Tillman earned second-team honors as a utility player. Tillman hit .416 with two homers and 31 RBIs. In the circle, she was 4-5 in 68.1 innings pitched. She posted a 4.10 ERA.
