Gap Dominates Region 1B Softball Team

Region 1B Champion Buffalo Gap dominated the All-Region softball selections with the Player and Coach of the Year and eight first-team selections.

Gap pitcher Caroline Alger was named Player of the Year and Bison head coach Holly Desper was the Coach of the Year.

Joining Alger on the first team were catcher Bailey Talley, Elissa Caricofe at first base, Amelia Woods at second base, shortstop Rachel Showalter, outfieders Hannah Coffman and Karah Richie and designated player Charleigh Phillips. Cadence Spradlin was named to the second team at third base.
