Bridgewater's Staton, Gordon Earn Academic Honors

BRIDGEWATER - Bridgewater College tennis players Emma Staton (Riverheads) and Mark Gordon (Stuarts Draft) have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

Gordon, a senior on the men’s team, earned the honor for the third consecutive season.

Staton, a senior on the women’s team, earned the honor for the first time in her career.

In order to be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher while participating in 70% of the institution's team matches.
